Installing the wreaths at Union Station, 2015.

To my mind, the wreaths at Union Station have long been Washingotn DC's classiest, most iconic Christmas ornament.  The way these wreaths fit the archs at the entry to Union Station is just perfect.  When the opportunity came to photograph the installation process -- from moving the structures from thier storage in one of the station's train tunnels to the front of the station for light checks; and ultimately to the lift and placement the wreaths -- I jumped on it.  Beyond the wreaths themselves, the fact that the lifts might also provide rare vantage to some of the Station's remarkable sculptures was a pure bonus.

Many thanks to an enthusiastic and very professional crew for the memorable experience I hope to repeat.
